Leon’s Furniture Ltd. is seeking for an experienced Electronics Category Manager / Buyer who has the ability, drive, and determination to play a key role in helping to strengthen our brand while maintaining our position as a leader within our industry.
Responsibilities
- Product selection including the newest technologies.
- Planning assortments and purchases
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to establish enduring agreements that advantages Leons in the long-term
- Allocating merchandise, managing inventory levels and business analytics for the Electronics category.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing for product campaigns and promotions.
- Demonstrate initiative, meticulous attention to detail, innovative troubleshooting skills and passion for electronics.
Qualifications and Skills
- Your experience buying electronics including television, audio, smart home products etc.
- Your previous experience in the home furnishings industry, specifically as a merchandiser, buyer, or procurement manager for appliances and/or home electronics.
- Your knowledge of retail merchandising category management
- Your skill of operating in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- Your willingness to demonstrate values of accountability, service, integrity and innovation
- Your enthusiasm for organization, goal setting, problem-solving and project management
