Leon’s Furniture Ltd. is looking for an Assistant Appliance Category Manager/Buyer who has the ability, drive, and determination to play a key role in helping to strengthen our brand while maintaining our position as a leader within our industry.
Responsibilities
- Support the Appliance Buyer with management of the home appliances category that includes assortment planning, purchasing, supplier relationships, merchandise allocation, managing inventory levels, and business analytics
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing for product campaigns and promotions.
- Must stay informed about the most recent trends and advancements in technology
- Demonstrate initiative, meticulous attention to detail, innovative troubleshooting skills and passion for electronics.
Qualifications
- Your experiences and knowledge of the latest industry trends in home appliances
- Your experience supporting the procurement of home appliances including washers, dryers, fridges, ranges, dishwashers, small appliances, etc.
- Your previous category management exprience
- Your ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- Your willingness to demonstrate values of accountability, service, integrity and innovation
- Your enthusiasm for organization, goal-setting, problem-solving and project management
- Your ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting or exceeding prescribed deadlines
