LEON’S IS CURRENTLY HIRING A FULL-TIME DELIVERY CLERK

 Leon’s is currently looking for a self-motivated part-time associte for our delivery office who is enthusiastic, hardworking and driven towards success. The ideal candidate understands the importance of customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.  

The delivery clerk position is a customer service role that involves scheduling, routing and confirming deliveries, providing delivery drivers with support, and helping customers by explaining the delivery process, confirming deliveries and answering any questions they may have.  Our Delivery Office associates are regarded amongst the best in the industry because of their professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing our customers with the ultimate buying experience.

 

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling, routing and confirming deliveries
  • Helping customers by explaining the delivery process and answering any questions they may have
  • Providing support and assistance to the delivery drivers and helpers while on the road
  • Calling ahead to let the customer know that the drivers are on route
  • Communicating procedures around stock, assembly, estimated delivery times, ensuring a pathway to the home is clear for the delivery, freight elevator is reserved, etc
  • Rescheduling missed deliveries
  • Ensuring delivery waivers are signed before moving product
  • Providing exceptional customer service and helping to resolve any issues, such as no-fits, damaged products, damage to the customer’s home, accidents, etc.

You provide a critical link between the delivery team, the company, and the customer.
