Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our Social Media team. This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in marketing, or related field. This role provides the student with a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, while supporting the marketing and social media team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Executing data-driven marketing campaigns in line with the promotional schedule across all social platforms.
  • Developing and executing national brand content in line with strategy
  • Designing and delivering local social training programs and adaptable content examples for local stores
  • Assisting in managing social media accounts, including content scheduling and engagement monitoring
  • Contributing to the development of creative assets; ensuring all content, both national and local, adheres to brand guidelines
  • Analyzing content performance and optimizing strategies based on data
  • Maintaining proactive communication and collaboration with the team

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of social/digital marketing strategies
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business platform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
  • Creative individual with an analytical and administrative skill set
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

 

The pay range for this position is $18-20 per hour; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
