Leon’s is currently looking for a Creative Studio Operations Lead to join our Toronto in-house studio—someone who is uncomfortably comfortable at the intersection of heritage and innovation.
In this role, you are the "Director of How." You’ll bridge the gap between ambitious creative vision and flawless execution, mastering high-volume workflows to keep our brand fast, fresh, and fearless. Reporting to the Creative and Brand Manager, you will be the primary architect of our processes—balancing the scales of budgets and briefs while championing the next frontier of AI-driven retail advertising.

Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Lead the end-to-end journey of every project, ensuring that from the first brief to the final "That’s Comfortable" sign-off, our execution is seamless.
- Workflow Optimization: Audit and evolve our creative engine, implementing tools and documentation that allow our team to scale without losing their cool.
- Multi-Channel Production: Oversee content production across social, brand campaigns, and sponsorships, ensuring our 100+-year legacy of quality is reflected in every pixel.
- Future-Proofing the Studio: Drive our digital evolution by integrating AI-assisted production and 360° advertising workflows into our daily rhythm.
- Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the strategic glue between brand teams and the studio, translating high-level ideas into actionable, bulletproof production plans.
- Post-Production Mastery: Own the pulse of the studio, managing complex schedules for static photography and dynamic video production using the latest tech.
- Risk & Compliance: Guard our brand’s reputation by managing legal, copyright, and usage rights with meticulous detail.
Requirements
- Education: A degree in Advertising, Photography & Video Production, or a related creative field.
- Experience: 6+ years of production leadership (Agency or In-house) where you’ve proven you can thrive in the "eye of the storm."
- Project Rigor: Expert-level command of scoping, vendor management, and budgets for massive multi-channel retail campaigns.
- Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of post-production and a genuine obsession with how AI-assisted tools can revolutionize the creative process.
- The "Comfort" Mindset: A calm, solution-oriented approach to tight deadlines and complex feedback—making the hard work look easy.
- Asset Management: Hands-on experience with DAM systems and content operations.
- Retail Edge: Experience in the furniture industry or high-volume retail is a major plus.

Compensation:
Starting rate for this position is $60,000 annually plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
