Overview

LEON'S FURNITURE IS NOW HIRING A FRANCHISE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (One-Year Contract)

 

An opportunity is available to join the Franchise Department as a Full-Time Administrative Assistant located at our Home Office in Toronto (in-office, non-remote). The Franchise Division is responsible for all services related to our 31 Leon’s franchises as well as the acquisitions of new franchises. This is a one-year contract role with the possibility of becoming a permanent full-time position)

 

Job responsibilities will include the following:

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Building rapport with current franchisees via phone or email communication.
  • Working closely with all departments within Leon’s Home Office, including the Legal Team, Finance and Leon’s Executives.
  • Entering orders for merchandise that the franchise stores request from our Distribution Centers.
  • Performing accounts payable and receivable duties, including invoice generation, payment processing, and accurate posting of receipts.
  • Updating legal agreements for new and renewing franchises.
  • Forwarding communication from Home Office to the franchise stores.
  • Tracking renewal dates and sending corresponding communication.
  • Assisting in planning and facilitating the annual franchise meeting.
  • Completing duties and meeting deadlines on time.
  • Processing credit requests and creating invoices.
  • Assisting with creating systems and processes for the franchise division.
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests.
  • Processing monthly payouts and chargebacks.
  • Reviewing and uploading franchise skus and e-comm cataloguing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Leon’s POS+, MMHF and policies.
  • Bilingual in English and French an asset, but not necessary.

Compensation:

$36,500/yr to $38,000/yr

 

Working Requirements:

  • In Office at our Toronto/North York Home Office
